The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in partnership with African Union Commission has extended the call for entries for the 2014 edition.
Submission of entries for the continental award project, which is aimed at showcasing African culture and rewarding musical talent, was initially opened on Thursday, May 15, 2014 and closed on Saturday, July 5, 2014. The new closing date is Monday, July 21, 2014 at 12.00 a.m.
AFRIMA Director of Sponsorship and Brand Communications, Ms. Matlou Tsotetsi confirmed the extension in a press release: ‘We hope this 14 days will give everyone a chance to get involved in AFRIMA’
AFRIMA is a platform for music industry members to engage and deliberate on how the industry can be nurtured and packaged in a way that contributes to the GDP of the continent. This year’s theme is ‘Reviving the Business of Music in Africa’.
