Emeka Ike has again said he’s the legally recognised National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
In a chat with NET, Ike said the leadership tussle is over as a court of law has declared the administration of Ibinabo Fiberesima illegal.
‘Anyone who still talks about factions in the AGN is an enemy of Nigerian actors. There are no factions as a competent court of law has sacked these people,’ Emeka disclosd to NET.
Emeka Ike along with notable celebs including musicians, comedians, Djs and others, had earlier on staged a protest march fighting against piracy in the country.
While addressing the protesters, the actor said: ‘It is sad that the scourge of piracy has continued to kill our industry. People are working and not getting paid. There was a time when I would stand in front of the camera and the movie would sell a million copies in one week. But these days, put 1 million actors in a movie but you wouldn’t even sell N15,000. It is that bad,’ Ike concluded.
