Talented Nigerian musician, Ólatunde Owoloye, otherwise called JahBless has returned to the country after an 18-month stay in New York.
The ‘Joor oh’ singer returned to the country to sign a new record deal with Jagged Edge records led by Kunle Oladehin who also doubles as the CEO of BHeerhugs Cafe.
In a recent chat with NET, Jah Bless, who is getting ready to drop his 3rd studio album titled I Am Me said: ‘I’m very proud to be associated with JE Records, it’s been a long time coming and here we are today putting pen to paper on a record deal. Despite the fact that I’ve been out of the country for a while, I never stopped making music or releasing songs and going forward, it can only get better.’
Speaking on the motive behind venturing into setting up JE Records, Kunle Oladehin, the CEO of BheerHugz Café and JE Records, said: ‘Music is the most preferred means of communicating brands and services in this 21st century as it transcends all known means of brand communication. Investing into creating a platform of this order is a major shift in reducing unemployment and also promoting the values and traditions of our great country.’
Plans are at an advanced stage for Jahbless to drop his 3rd studio album in December 2014.
