Leading entertainment platform, Africa Magic seeks to begin 2015 on an electrifying note for viewers across Africa and the rest of the world as it launches new and exciting shows this January.
First to roll out from its stables this month is Hotel Majestic, a first of its kind telenovella series which airs weekdays at 21:00CAT on Africa Magic Showcase (Dstv Channel 151).

The Calabash
A drama series exclusive to Africa Magic Showcase (Dstv Channel 151) which features Alexandra Nwokedi, Colette Nwadike, Charles Ukpong, and Christopher Okagbue among many other exciting names.
The Calabash revolves around an ailing bank so desperate to avoid liquidation that its management employs unscrupulous measures to force employees to deliver on ridiculous targets set for them.
V Republic:
Premiered yesterday, January 7, 2015 on Africa Magic Showcase, V Republic tells the story of 4 beautiful ladies – a lawyer and her personal assistant in a law firm, an upcoming actress and a business woman.
The show follows and brings to life the struggles, chaos, drama, suspense and intrigue surrounding each individual lady in their professional and personal lives. The show’s cast includes Joselyn Dumas, Jasmine Baroudi, Christabel Ekeh, Nikki Samonas, Senanu Gbedawo, James Gardiner, and Anthony Nkwochsa among many others.

Also brand new to Africa Magic, this is an exciting tale of deceit, lies, revenge and mayhem.
Premiering today, January 8, 2015 on Africa Magic Showcase (Dstv Channel 151), this drama series delves into the life of Ariel Morrison, a literary manager whose life is thrown into disarray when her ex-boyfriend returns to Ghana on the day of her wedding.

An intriguing tale of life, love and social imbalances, this show takes us through the life of an out of work woman who decides to disguise herself as a man to deceitfully gain employment, only to find herself entangled in a web of unrequited love and murder.
