Tunisia and DR Congo have progressed to the next stage of the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
In the last group match played on January 26, 2015 at the Estadio De Bata, the teams ended the match in a stalemate, a 1 – 1 draw with goals from Tunisia’s Ahmed Akaachi in the 31-minute and and a 66-minute goal from Jeremy Bokila.
With the result, Cape Verde and Zambia were eliminated from the tournament as Tunisia qualified with 5 points to top Group B while DR Congo bagged 3 points just like Cape Verde but went through on goal difference. Tunisia will face the host nation, Equatorial Guinea while DR Congo will face Congo in the next stage.
