Adebayo Faleti was a man of many firsts – first Yoruba presenter on TV and radio, Africa’s first stage play director and first librarian with the first TV station in Africa.
Besides setting records, Faleti was an outstanding actor and writer of films like Thunderbolt: Magun, Afonja 1&2 and more. He is one of the outstanding playwrights and poets who created and translated a lot of works in the Yoruba language. His books are regular textbooks in Universities and secondary schools. He passed July 23, 2017, but his art will continue to reflect across generations.
