Apart from the criticisms that have poured in as regards Tony Tetuila’s choice of hairdo for his newly-unveiled campaign poster, another fact about the poster that people seem to have ignored is the fact that Tetuila is the only entertainer who has publicly courted political godfathers in the state where they are contesting to the extent of including them in his poster.
While other entertainers have simply appeared alone in their campaign posters as it is normal, Tetuila has taken things to a new level of sycophancy by placing the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatai Ahmed and the state’s political power broker, Bukonla Saraki, who inherited the Saraki political dynasty from his late father in the poster.
In that manner, apart from the fact that the man who fell out with then fellow Remedies members early in the days, is showing he is not likely to be his own man as he is riding on the crest of others’ political shoulders and showing it off even.
it is all the more incredulous when you consider the fact that Tony is hanging out with the governor, who leads the exectuive arm in the state while he is gunning for a seat on the legislature.
He’s also gone ahead to share pictures of himself at the state house with the state governor on social media and with that not having been recorded anywhere before now, it remains to be seen how far Tony Tetuila, about who not much has been heard as far as music is concerned, will go in his new aim.
