Season five of Big Brother Naija has already been airing for more than five weeks. And as usual, viewers have already claimed their favourite housemates and are doing their best to ensure that they survive as many Sunday Night Eviction shows as possible.
Since voting opened up on Big Brother Naija, we’ve noticed these seven categories of people. Which one are you?
- The ones who leave nothing to chance
Even though viewers can vote up to 100 times per SIM card, these ones leave nothing to chance and vote with as many SIM cards as they can find, simply because their preferred housemate must win the show by force, by fire.
- The cheerful givers
These ones will sponsor giveaways so other fans of the housemate they are rooting for can also vote. It’s a serious matter, abeg.
- The ones that do everything with their full chest
These ones like to shalaye, so they go all out to get votes for their housemates. They will print T-shirts, hire a truck, DJ, and go the whole nine yards to get those votes. These days some stans are even launching songs to draw votes. What do you think we’ll see next?
- The social media campaigners
If you have not voted for their housemate, how dare you think of resting? They will remind you to vote every thirty minutes on the TL until you’re seeing the housemate’s voting code in your dreams.
- The die-hard stans
These BBNaija fans know that times have changed. The ‘rona is outside and we can’t be going on rallies and stuff. For this set of BBNaija fans, WhatsApp is for strategizing alone, so they gather in their WhatsApp groups and plan new ways of gaining votes for the housemate they stan.
- The ‘I can’t kill myself’ gang
Life is not hard, so these ones can’t be bothered to vote for any housemate when they can just watch the show with no strings attached.
Issokay! Your fave is going home this Sunday!
- The smart gang
Of course, there’s the smart gang. These guys have been using the DStv and GOtv tiered voting options to keep their best housemates in the house since voting started.
With the GOtv and DStv tiered voting options, active subscribers have votes for each round, based on their subscription package.
