6 reasons why Wizkid and Linda Ikeji should ‘kiss and make up’

In 2016 alone, the Nigerian showbiz scene has witnessed enough fights to last a decade. The most recent, and enduring is of course the war between pop star, Wizkid and popular blogger, Linda Ikeji.

So we thought hey, why continue the beef when we’re all about love and peace?

Let’s look at some of the reasons why they should end all this drama and call a truce!

1. They both came from the bottom sharing a grass to grace story (started from the bottom now they here) – why not sheathe the sword and work together to empower people from the hood?

2. They both represent the New Nigeria driven by the youths. Who would have thought a broke blogger would one day buy a mansion in Banana Island? Or that a Studio rat will become a multimillionaire global star?

3. They are both having dating issues even in the midst of endless admirers. They can talk about this and more over dinner? Linda’s place will be fine since Wiz may be homeless for a minute?

4. They have a lot to do to take their brands to the next level. Wiz is eyeing a mainstream global penetration. Linda is plotting for a post-blogger future. They need to share lessons and contacts and ideas. Not stabbing one another.

5. They both love luxury items. With their vanity games so strong, they need to take a trip to shop in heaven and show us who has a deeper pocket. They can choose a happy ending. That’s entirely up to them!

6. They’re setting bad examples for the millions looking up to them from Ojuelegba to Kaura Na Moda. With such influence and following, they need to begin rethinking how they conduct themselves and the kind of examples they set. They are both probably more influential on Nigerian youth than all our politicians put together.
