1. Criteria for Registration
Registration for GUS 12 is strictly online at www.gulderultimatesearch.ng. You must be a Nigerian from ages 21-35, and you will take a test during the application.
2. Physical, Mental and Psychological Fitness
The show involves life in a jungle; it’s very tasking, and requires the physical, mental and psychological fitness of contestants. It’s a show for the fittest, not the faint-hearted.
3. Screening holds at three locations
Enugu in the Southeast
Lagos in the Southwest
Abuja in the North.
You’ll have to select your preferred location while registering.
4. Security and health protocol sorted
Organisers say they are aware of rising insecurity in the country and have put adequate measures in place to ensure the safety of the contestants. There’s no reason to fret.
5. The prize is 5x bigger than GUS 11
From ₦3m in 2004 when the show premiered, to ₦10m in 2014, the stake is higher this time.
The winner will pocket a ₦50m prize, including a brand-new SUV with other mouth-watering gifts. Other contestants will also benefit from a ₦20 million cash prize.
