He’s broken barriers, filled up a 20,000-capacity dome last year and this year, he’s pushed further by filling up a 40,000-capacity stadium. He’s proven that nothing you put your mind to do is impossible. And yes, we’re talking about Africa’s ‘biggest’ rap sensation, Cassper Nyovest.

Proving once again to his foes that he has the potential to shut down one of the biggest stadiums in South Africa, the rapper was successful in raising the bar for local artistes when he almost filled up the Orlando Stadium, with approximately more than 30,000 fans coming out for his hotly-anticipated concert on Saturday night, October 29.

This wasn’t just any concert. It was one of the biggest music festivals that SA has ever seen, if not Africa! Boasting a star-studded lineup including SA acts Emtee, Nadia Nakai, Riky Rick, Babes Wodumo and one of Nigeria’s finest, Wizkid.

One of the highlights was when the crowd went bonkers after Cassper called out his ‘special friend’ Boity onto the stage to help him demonstrate how guys should court a girl, which obviously saw him serenading his ex live in front of thousands of fans.

That moment was something fans wish they could hold on to.
But something extraordinary happened – after Cassper and old time nemesis AKA ended their old beef by hugging it out.

AKA was said to be at Taboo, a club where Cassper and his crew were celebrating after the show when (maybe) he bumped into AKA.

A photographer caught the moment on camera and the image has since gone viral – but how long before they rekindle the beef remains to be seen.

Given the success of #FillUpOrlandoStadium and #FillUpTheDome before that, there is not an atom of doubt that he’s going to be able to pull it off!
