Controversial Nigerian singer, Maheeda has over time repeatedly said she grew up as an orphan. In several interviews, she’s been quoted as saying she did not grow up to know either her mother or her father.
While the case of her mother is not so clear, ‘I never met my father’ has been a recurring refrain for the controversial nudity queen whose real name is Caroline Sam
Today, she decided to address the issue in a rather subtle manner, saying the spirit of forgiveness has overtaken her. In a series of tweets, Maheeda says she is forgiving her dad for ditching them all and walking away from his family 32 years ago without looking back.
In the usual Maheeda style, the incoherence looms large as she says nothing about having reunited with the man she calls father or not; just saying she still loves him despite the selfish choice he made several years ago.
