The 2014 edition of the annual Felabration has come and gone, but its memories would linger on for very long time in the minds of those who were privileged enough to witness the week-long musical festival and celebration of the life and times of late Afro beat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
This year, the second theatrical experience of the life and times of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, made into a movie titled ‘Finding Fela‘ was part of it all.
The premiere of the Alex Gibney movie officially kicked off this year’s Felabration on Sunday, October 12, at the New African Shrine.
During course of the week, a list musicians and DJs took turns to thrill their fans who trooped out in large numbers to have a feel of them.
Dj Step, Dj Da Next, Dj Tony Blaize and Dj Daposta were the official DJs for the event while super stars like Wizkid, Olamide, 2face, Runtown, Dammy Krane, Patoranking all had stand out performances during the of course of the week.
Other stars who performed include Tillaman, Saeon, Niyola, Lynxxx, Daddy Showkey, Lace, Solid Star, Danny Young and several others.
