There were some no-shows at D’Banj’s Sunday concert; including giants 2face Idibia and Wizkid.
Apparently, 2face was in Houston, Texas where he had performed at Industry Nite a day earlier.
Interestingly, Wizkid was present at Eko Hotel but never got to perform. Unlike 2face whose name had been taken off the show’s line up days earlier, the 22-year-old Pop singer was still announced by the show host AY. ‘He’s still in his hotel room’, one of the organisers told our reporter, pointing to the singer’s manager who had made his way backstage.
Others like Durella (who is reported to have signed with D’banj) and DB Records artiste JSol were also conspicuously missing from the concert.
No reasons were given for their absence.
