Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has officially begun a new chapter in his personal life, tying the knot with partner Natasha Osawaru in a traditional wedding ceremony held in Abuja on July 25.
The private celebration was attended by close family members, with the couple donning regal traditional attire. Though details remain tightly under wraps, select photos from the event show the newlyweds beaming beside loved ones, basking in the glow of cultural elegance and quiet joy.
Since news of the wedding broke, fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, hailing the union as a heartfelt new beginning for the ‘African Queen’ crooner.
2Baba’s relationship with Osawaru, a prominent Edo lawmaker, came into the public eye shortly after his separation from longtime partner Annie Macaulay Idibia earlier this year. Despite the timing, the singer emphasized that his romance with Osawaru was not connected to the breakup.
He proposed to Natasha in February, and the couple’s bond gained further momentum in April when she visited 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia. The visit followed a viral moment in which Rose urged Natasha to “remove the beads” from the singer, expressing concern for his well-being. However, her blessing eventually marked a turning point in the relationship’s acceptance.
