Leicester City’s UEFA Champions League fairy tale continues after securing a 3-2 aggregate win over Sevilla at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on Tuesday night.
The Foxes may be struggling in the English Premier League, but a 2-0 win on the night means they are the first team from England to reach the Champions League quarterfinal this season.

Club captain, Wes Morgan became the first ever Jamaican to score in the Champions League after a Riyad Mahrez cross bounced off him into the net after 27 minutes.
3-time Europa League title holders Sevilla missed a chance to equalise early in the second half when defender, Sergio Escudero‘s long range effort cannoned off the crossbar.
And the visitors were made to rue that miss a minute later when Marc Albrighton drilled home Leicester’s second after 54 minutes.

A 74th minute altercation between Leicester’s Jamie Vardy and Sevilla’s Samir Nasri – on loan from Manchester City – led to both being booked and Nasri getting sent off as it was his second yellow card.
But there was still more drama to come in the closing stages as Sevilla’s Steven Nzonzi saw his 80th penalty kick saved by Kasper Schmeichel; to the delight of his father and former Champions League winner, Peter Schmeichel who was watching from the stands.

Leicester then held on to win the match 2-0 and join the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the last eight.
Elsewhere on Tuesday night, a Paulo Dybala penalty was enough to give Juventus a 1-0 win over FC Porto in Turin.
The win completes a 3-0 aggregate win for the Italian champions.
