
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie‘s political ambition got a boost after he emerged winner of the gubernatorial primary elections in his home state, Anambra.
Edochie, who emerged as flag-bearer of the Democratic People’s Congress (DPC), announced plans to run for governorship in July 2017.
‘I thank everyone who made it possible and to all who have placed their hopes and trust in me. I will not let you down.’ Edochie said.

Speaking on the state of the nation, he wrote, ‘The older ones have failed us for too long and they have come to the last bus stop.
‘It is time for the youth and the masses, we are taking the government house of Anambra State come November 2017 and make sure we run a government that will put the welfare of the masses first.’
