We’ve said it before – it’s the season of proposals, engagements, introductions and weddings. We’re still panting from the effects of 2face Idibia’s Valentine’s day proposal. Now, we’ve just confirmed Nigerian highlife star Chinedu Okoli aka Flavour and Nigerian-American upcoming artiste Beverly Heels also got engaged on February 14.
Beverly who is currently in the US confirmed the news to popular blogger Linda Ikeji.
When asked about her current relationship with Flavour she said ‘it’s true, we are engaged‘, Beverly said.
We are told Flavour proposed to Beverly on Valentine’s day over the phone. A day later Beverly tweeted, ‘My best Valentine gift was my engagement ring and something also very special ;).. Good Night everyone and enjoy tonight #XOXO‘.
Flavour’s manager Benjamin tells NET the pair are involved and prepping for marriage. ‘Yes it’s true, yes they are engaged’, he told NET in a telephone conversation. He however would not comment on the rumours that Beverly is already pregnant for the Enugu-born singer.
We’re unable to confirm when the couple began dating but insiders say in spite of Flavour’s busy tour schedules they have been able to hook up once or twice in the last three months. The couple performed separately at the Ayva Center in Houston, Texas last December and met up again in January when Beverly paid a three weeks visit.
Beverly Heels (aka B.Heels) was born Beverly Chioma Ukegbu. The aspiring Pop singer resides in Houston, Texas. Her nickname ‘Heels’ was created because she always wears heels.
Meanwhile Flavour was out last night, to support Wizkid at Industry Nite. He made no comments on the news of his engagement and was shielded by bodyguards all through his stay.

Victor so so sorry but he should think twice and wait for what? Men end up old and washed up too you know. When you can not take the pick of the litter, instead you get a young gold digger who is with you just for your money and uses all your resources to finance the man she will soon leave you for. Flavor, congrats my guy. You picked well. Don’t be fooled by the “I am a hot cake” mentality. Go for what is real.

To me,wether his engage or propose 2 beverly or not. tym is not waiting and beside we all knows dat man connot above marriage. but make he pick up a woman of his chiose and get marry. yestaday evening sum1 came and give me false news dat flavour as be mourder by 1 bitch in a hotel dat de lady said dat any tym she is list 2 de track ashawo she is not happy with flavour but i no dat is jzt a rumours. but thanks God 4 de 1 am just hear online. am happy 4 u flavour.
