Uruguayan president Jose Mujica has lashed out at FIFA following Luis Suarez’s ban for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
Speaking to a Journalist on his view about the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Mujica said: ‘FIFA are a bunch of old sons of b*****s.’ ‘They could have punished him, but not given him this fascist ban,’
Reports have it that after the president’s verbal assault on FIFA, he held his mouth to a feign shock at what he had just said, but when asked by the journalist if he wanted to rectify his comments, he responded: ‘Publish it.’
The Liverpool striker’s has been suspended for four months from all football activities, plus nine international matches and handed a £65,000 (N18M) fine.
