The first edition of the annual AfrikCan celebration of African music, literature, arts, fashion and food is set to take place in Boston later this month from July 21-25 at Ramsey Park.
The 5-day festival has recruited some of the biggest names around the world for amazing performances including Côte d’Ivoire reggae legend, Alpha Blondy, Nigerian pop star, Wizkid, South Africa’s biggest house DJ, Black Coffee, 2-time Grammy Award winner, Angelique Kidjo among others.
A few weeks ago, Wizkid revealed he’s just done a collabo with Angelique Kidjo and like he did with Chris Brown in South Africa, he might just perform the new song with her at the event.
