Leonardo DiCaprio has sued French Magazine, Oops! over a report that he got Rihanna pregnant. The popular actor filed the suit against Oops! over its May 28 cover story which says Leo got Rihanna pregnant but will not recognise the baby as his.
In the suit he filed against the French magazine, Leo is all out against the magazine as he states he absolutely did not get Rihanna pregnant while his lawyer refers to the story as nothing ‘pure fantasy.’
According to TMZ, his team recently contacted Oops! and informed the people running the magazine that the story was false and in the suit, first reported by Gossip Cop, Leo is demanding about $20,000 in damages and attorney fees from Oops!, the maximum amount allowed under French law.
In an exclusive conversation with Gossip Cop, Frederic Truskolaski, owner of Oops and a defendant in the lawsuit, acknowledges that the magazine knew its ‘scoop’ was untrue.
‘He says his staff read numerous stories ‘saying they were together’ but noted ‘we didn’t know’ if Rihanna was pregnant, adding, ‘We thought she might be. We were not sure, of course.’
