Superhero movie, Wonder Woman is set for a big opening at the box office but people of Lebanon won’t contribute to this.
That’s because the country has decided to ban the DC Comic film adaption from screening there, all because the lead actress is from Israel.
Gal Gadot stars as the title character who moves around as Diana Prince to keep her identity as the heroine from the world.

But due to Lebanon not exactly being on good terms with her home country – for which she’s served in the army – movie fans in Lebanon would have to find alternative means of seeing the movie when it hits cinemas from June 2.
That said, box office projections have the movie which also stars Chris Pine on course to make $1.8m in Israel over the opening weekend.
If achieved, it would be the highest ever opening for a Warner Bros. Pictures film in Israel.
