Welcome home: Ja Rule released from prison

 Ja Rule has been released from prison after serving over 2 years for illegal gun possession and issues with his taxes.

The former Murda Inc act was released two months earlier than his release date of July 28th, which was previously reported by Huffington Post.

Fellow Queens rapper Noreaga tweeted: Just spoke to @Ruleyork everybody tell him welcome home!!!
