Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi was hit with water bottle thrown from the crowd once again during the Barcelona vs Valencia match in La Liga over the weekend.
The incident occurred after Sergio Busquets scored the only goal of the match in the dying seconds of stoppage time and as the Barca players celebrated the goal close to the end line, an object was thrown at the 4-time World Player of the Year from the area occupied by Valencia fans.
According to reports, Valencia has issued a statement condemning the act, stating that the fan believed to have thrown the object will be banned for life if found guilty of the act.
