Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, and other top Nigerian entertainment superstars including Ali Baba, and Tosyn Bucknor have been confirmed for this year’s walk for child amputees in Lagos.
Tagged ‘OUT on a LIMB’, the celebrities will be walking for children living with limb loss to create awareness and show care to them. This awareness walk is aimed at bringing the attention of society to the challenges faced by these children, and the need to appropriately care for them.
In 2014 over 600 people including Kate Henshaw, Ali Baba, Family Life Consultant Praise Fowowe, winner of MTN Project Fame Season 5 Ayoola Ayobami, award-winning News Anchor/ Reporter for Channels TV Adesewa Josh, OAP Tosyn Bucknor, and sensational gospel artiste Diekololami Olu- Adegoke walked 2km with several amazing child amputees.
These celebrities are once again fired up to make history in 2015 as they come together to put smiles on the faces of these special children. The date for the walk is to be announced later.
