Ed Sheeran says air conditioning damaged his voice.
The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker admitted he’s worried his Australian tour would be cancelled because his voice had ‘dried up’.
He told Sydney’s Daily Telegraph: ‘It was scary. It was a difficult tour in that respect, a lot of air conditioning and a lot of flying dries you up. I had to be more sensible than I usually am. One (of my hit songs) was in (the setlist) but because my voice went, I couldn’t do falsetto. It had to come out. It’ll be different when I come back to Australia in December.’
Meanwhile, Ed recently revealed he had been banned from talking and was, instead, forced to communicate with a whiteboard.
Writing on Twitter, he said: ‘Been told by the vocal doc not to talk at all between shows and they’re giving me a white board to communicate with, could prove interesting’.
Despite his tour Down Under not going exactly to plan, whilst in the country, Ed secured himself a cameo in Australian soap ‘Neighbours’.
