The hopes of cancer patient Funmi Lawal brightens up as the days goes by; less than 24 hours after music producer Don Jazzy’s N2m donation was made public, two other celebrities have followed suit in making sure project #SaveFunmi turns out to be a success
A few hours ago, Nollywood actresses Tonto Dike and Rukky Sanda made a joint donation of N1m. Tonto Dike’s publicist confirmed the donation, clearly stating his client would rather it not be made public knowledge.
Before the ‘celebrity contributions, Funmi who needs a total sum of N4m said she had received only N600,000. With total contribution of N3.6m, Funmi needs an additional N400,000 to complete the required amount.
