Award winning Ghanaian actress and TV host, Joselyn Dumas has showered encomiums on dance-hall star, Stonebwoy, describing him as humble and hardworking.
Stonebwoy won the award ahead of Sarkodie, who is currently embroiled in a controversy with American hip hop act, Acehood over who made the first contact on their ‘New Guy’ collaboration.
Speaking in the latest episode of vlog for Pulse.com.gh, the actress admitted she was excited when Stonebwoy was named the ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 16th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, because he deserved the honour.
‘Honestly, I think Stonebwoy’s award was a win well deserved. He has worked so hard. I was routing for him. I love all my boys in the industry but I think Stonebwoy is one humble, hardworking dude.’
‘I was very happy. I felt like a proud sister when his name was mentioned as the award recipient. I thought it was long overdue. He works hard, he is a super talent,’ she added.
