The Agege-based fuji artist reportedly died in his home in Agbado, Lagos in the early hours of Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.

Awise became popular through his Agege Allstar album ‘New Generation’ on which he featured other Fuji artistes like Nurudeen Ajani, Segun Opontisun, late Sunny T Adesokan and Oyama Azeez. He was also known for his Fuji Lori Reggae album which featured renowned Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.
