According to reports, an associated Press journalist managed to board one of the buses conveying fans to the stadium where he witnessed migrant workers boasting and ranting about a few dollars.
Reports also have it that the migrant workers attended football, volleyball and handball events dressed in white robes and head-scarves in order to look like Qatari supporters.
The manipulation has seemingly worked in Qatar’s favour as it has been picked as the host of the 2022 World Cup.
