For fans who have seen sultry Australian actress, Nicole Mary Kidman decked in long gowns on red carpets, this may be a shock to them as she was recently revealed as the cover of the September edition of the V magazine.
The picture which was taken by popular fashion photographer, Mario Testino had the 45-year-old actress topless and with only a black Channel skirt which barely covered her bum as styled by stylist, Carylene Cerf de Duzeele.
The picture has since been met with mixed reactions as some fans are of the opinion that the picture may have been inspired by her role in the movie The Paperboy, where she played the role of a nasty woman who had an obsession with writing to prisoners.
In one of her response as contained in the magazine, Nicole gave an insight into her life style, according to her,’I don’t really make decisions, I go with the flow. If I were a strategically minded person, I think I would have a far different career…But I would be more outlandish if I could. A lot of times you just don’t get the chance’, she said.
Fans have also reacted to Canadian singer Celine Dion’s topless photo also featured in the magazine. Most are shocked that the 44-year-old would ever think of shooting a ‘top-off’ photo, while others have commended her for being courageous enough to do so.
Kidman began her acting career in 1983 and has since featured in well over 50 movies with awards including Golden Globe and Academy awards to her credit.
