Nigerian Entertainment Today, your number one source for everything entertainment will sell for N100 a copy from May 25, 2015.
We have been unwilling to increase our cover price for years, even when it seemed the last resort in the face of economic realities.
In 2012, we reduced the cover price from N100 to N50, a move that was unheard of in the newspaper industry. The simple reason was to ensure our readers enjoy more value, paying less.
However, with the rising cost of operations occasioned by adjustments in exchange rate, harsh economic conditions, rising cost of printing and unstable business environment, we are forced to increase the cover price to N100.
We promise to continue to thrill, inform and entertain you in the inimitable NET style. With the new cover price, you can expect more in terms of analysis, exclusives, opinions, breaking stories and in-depth coverage of Nigerian entertainment scene in general.
In addition, we will provide you unrestricted access to our digital platforms (www.orin.ng) for those who love to listen to the best of African music on the go and www.thenet.ng for those who can’t wait one full week for all the celeb scoop money can’t buy!); all FOR FREE and in a way only NET can do.
Loyalty rewards like free movie tickets, gifts and access to the best events in town are other goodies we have lined up for you in our new package.
We thank you for your continuous patronage.
Happy to have your feedback: info@thenet.ng.
