Actors Eso Dike, Titi Kuti, Akah Nnani and Chibuzor Iheukwumere have been nominated for the NET Honours Class of 2022 first-ever Breakout Actor of the Year category.
The category, a voting category among the 15 new categories created to ensure inclusivity, has selected actors with an excellent track record for the past 12 months.
Eso Dike is a Nigerian actor and musician whose charisma and delivery in movies always stand out. He particularly stunned with his acting in the 2021 Nigerian TV series ‘The Smart Money Woman’.
Titi Kuti was introduced to mainstream fame with his role in Kemi Adetiba’s 2021 thriller series, King of Boys: The Return of the King. The actor was on the lips of every Nigerian as we watched his delivery through his character Ade Tiger. Before this role, he had filmed his first TV series, Emerald and was formerly a TV presenter.
Akah Nnani is an actor and content producer who broke through with his performance in the 2022 movie ‘Man of God’. The actor has also featured in films like ‘Omo Ghetto The Saga’ and ‘Isoken’.
Nollywood actor Chibuzor Iheukwumere is a model with his breakout role in the Africa Magic series, ‘The Rishantes’. The actor has also featured in the Ndani TV series ‘Love Like This.’
NET Honours, which debuted during the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) in 2013 as a special recognition award, is presented to deserving individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry with verified data from Netng on the web and social.
“NET Honours provides useful data on popular culture trends and the interests of urban youth in Africa.
