I’m so grateful for you Mum, you have been the voice of wisdom that has guided me even when you weren’t with me physically, you have been my rock when I needed words of encouragement, you always know what to say, you still are my home even though I’m older now.
I’ve never seen a woman so humble, so strong , so loving and so patient. I was a challenging kid, I can’t count how many of my wounds you had to nurse, you always took care of us, you were never too tired,you never for one day turned your back at me even when I made you sad, you forgave.
You taught me to be thankful and contented in times of plenty and when there is none. At night when we sleep you are awake praying for your children, I’ve seen you do this right from when I was little, now I’m grown and you have never stopped praying, that’s what keeps me going.
I learned to appreciate even little things by watching you, I see how you lit up for even little gifts, you never see it as small. Forever isn’t long enough to celebrate you but each day of my life is a testimony that I am a son of an Amazing mother. I can’t forget to say that you are so beautiful, just as your heart is.
I thank God you are my mother and if I were to live again, I wouldn’t change anything, you’ll still be my Mum. I Love you and I celebrate you today and always.
