Liverpool and Italy striker, Mario Balotelli has been fined £25, 000 for breaking FA’s social media rules.
The former Manchester City striker was handed the ban after he uploaded an alleged anti-Semitic post on his Instagram page on Monday, December 1, 2014, which is seen as abusive and derogatory by the Football Association.
Although, he apologised for the act, the player was also hit with a match ban that will see him miss his club’s match against Arsenal and will attend an educational course for his actions and might face further disciplinary actions from Liverpool.
