For many of us, today is a day to relax and have fun, after all it’s a brand spanking new year; and there’s 364 more days to worry about work. However, there are people who are hard at work to ensure that our celebratory day is stress free. Let’s take time out to honour the following professionals.

Airlines don’t go on break just because it’s new year’s day. If you head to the airport, you’ll see planes taking off and touching down.
3. Doctors
Perhaps the most underappreciated group in the country. Some people will need medical attention and doctors will have to sort them out.
4. Waiters
They’re always at work. Always
5. Police officers

6. Traffic warden/LATSMA
The traffic-free roads are somebody’s responsibilities.
7. LAWMA
Leave trash for LAWMA!
8. Musicians
You’ll probably be listening to music all day.
