Lady Gaga has purchased 55 pieces of Michael Jackson collections auctioned on Sunday, Dec 2, 2012 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California.
The singer purchased Jackson collections, which includes his amazing Jacket designed with gold and his two crystal hand gloves.
After she had bought close to 55 out of the collections, she said she is going to archive it and care for it in respect of the late pop star.
She tweeted ‘The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson.’
Dennis Thompkins and Michael Bush, Jackson’s costume designer and close friend for 25 years, put up the auction, which grossed closed to $5M.
Many Jackson fans were unhappy with Bush for auctioning off Jackson’s costumes worn by the King of Pop throughout his career.
Jackson died in June 2009 and his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his death.
