Kidnappers who kidnapped record label boss Dayo Adeneye’s father-in-law are asking for a N10 millon ransom for the elderly man.
A message sent out by Caroline Adeneye’s publicist, Sunday Adebayo and obtained by NET reads: ‘74 year-old Chief Nigbenebor was kidnapped in Benin, and according to his daughter, Caroline Adeneye, the kidnappers are asking for 40 million naira and have reduced it t0 10 million.’
Chief Nigbenebor was kidnapped on Friday, August 29, 2014.
This unpleasant event comes barely two months after Dayo Adeneye floated a hotel in Lagos, an investment reportedly running into hundreds of millions of naira.
D1 and his wife could not immediately be reached for comments.
