In 2011, the legal battle over the ownership of ‘I Am Feeling Good’ between singer Kelly Hansome and D’Banj’s former label, Mo’Hits wasn’t friendly, though Don Jazzy thought otherwise.
Kelly at the time was invited to Garki Police Command Headquarters, Abuja where he signed an undertaking to refrain from further use of the copyright by Mo’Hits Records Limited.
It was also said that the artiste was set a bail of N800,000.
Kelly in a recent chat with Thenetng admitted that the song, which featured 2face, was indeed owned by D’banj/Mo’Hits.

‘It was actually their track, I made a remix to that, but right now I’m just focusing on bigger things.’
He also added that he now has a cordial relationship with former label bosses, Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye of Kennis Music – which formerly housed 2face Idibia.
Kelly Hansome is more popular for his hit singles in the early 2000s; like ‘Play Like Play’ and ‘Maga Don Pay’.
The singer and music producer recently made a comeback in the music industry after a break of over 10 years.
In January, he released a 12-track EP entitled 4 Play, featuring 9ice and Oritsefemi.
