Iyanya‘s announcement about floating a new record label and the subsequent release of a new song without the logo of his current MMMG label has sparked off several rumours.
Many believe that his decision is borne out of a recent fight with his manager and partner, Ubi Franklin while another school of thought says, Ubi’s wife, Lilian Esoro is the cause of the rift between Iyanya and Ubi.

While Ubi Franklin has declined to comment on the new development when contacted by our correspondent, Iyanya who is currently in the United States took to social media to clear the air.
His words, ‘all these are lies. I’m not fighting Ubi. His wife is the best woman in the world for him, she is a good woman, she’s a good cook too. You guys please chill’.
