Taking some time off the Quilox hat for a while, hospitality entrepreneur Shina Peller in his role as Chairman of Aquila Group of Companies – alongside the Oyo State government officials, launched Peller Unity Cup, a sports initiative.
It’s an unusual move for someone who is otherwise known for hospitality business, and the crowd that came to him wanted to know why a football competition was important to him at this point.
Peller then spoke about his non-political intentions of bringing development to Oyo State youths using the 20-year remembrance of his late Father, Moshood Abiola Peller, to commence his series of state projects.
He also expressed his willingness to support participants after the football tournament.
The Peller Unity Cup is expected to have over 300 participants and will have massive concert at the final.
