Singer Tiwa Savage and EME artist Wizkid have been officially unveiled as ambassadors of popular soft drink Pepsi.
The unveiling, which was held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Likwid Lounge, had celebrities and fans turn out to see them decorated.
An excited Tiwa in a chat with NET expressed her gratitude at the brand’s decision to make her an ambassador, adding that she has no idea why she was chosen but will add ‘a proper Naija flavour’ to the brand.
Celebrities in attendance included Eku Edewor, Kaffy, Vector, Tillaman, Dr Sid, Flowsick, Olisa Adibua, DJ Xclusive, Durella, Mo Cheddah and a host of others.
The duo are the latest additions on the list of Nigerian musicians who have been chosen as ambassadors for the brand, following Ashionye who was signed as the face of Pepsi Lite in 2007, and Lynxxx, who represented the brand in 2010.
Globally, Pepsi has for many years, used soccer and music stars for marketing campaigns.
