The above statement was posted by Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi on her facebook wall today, right after church service.
The actress was today officially ordained a Christian minister in Fresh Oil Ministry International Church in Idimu, Lagos, Nigeria. She becomes the first notable Nollywood actress to record such distinction.
The controversial actress took her ministerial vows in a colourful ordination ceremony presided over by the church’s minister, Pastor Psalm Okpe, who presented her with a certificate of ordination.
Speaking with NET shortly after the service, the newly ordained evangelist, expressed happiness.
‘I feel overwhelmed with joy for officially being recognised as a promoter of the kingdom. My joy knows no bounds. I have dropped my fame, I’ve dropped who I am in following Christ‘, she said.
She however maintained that she will still feature in more movies when asked if she will be bidding the industry goodbye.
‘Definitely not, we are going to break more grounds, with about three hundred movies behind me, we can only be aiming for thousands more‘.
The ceremony was attended by friends and family of the actress as well as some colleagues in the movie industry, including Clarion Chukwura-Abiola.
Eucharia Anunobi, who made her movie debut with ‘Nneka the Pretty Serpent‘ part 2, in 1999 has featured in over three hundred movies in a career spanning over a decade.

Congratulations on ur ordination, I hope u reconcile with ur husband to avoid contradiction.
Answering d name “pastor” is nt d problem but bearing it(pastor) is where d sheeps are being seperated frm d goats. Bcos u must prove ur calling and commitment wit regards 2 ur new undertaking. No matter ur past God can still use u but bear this in mind— there is nothing like being a pastor and acting at the same time. Except u are been pushed, influenced or forced into this(which is nt going to turn out well for u at the end). Also know this— ‘working in the kingdom’ is soly different from ‘working for the kingdom’ and the difference is not evident in the ‘saying’ but is in the ‘doing’. But if u can break and mold urself wit the word of God and faith, guarded by God’s spirit then u will scale-through. May the lord give u grace to overcome distractions, confusions and depressions.
