Ghanaian Reggae and dance-hall act, Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known as Edem has hinted he would be quitting music after the release of his fourth album.
Speaking in an interview with Adom FM on Thursday, April 23, 2015, the singer, who is one of the most respected artistes in Ghana made the revelation that he’ll like to retire from the Industry in other to go into something else. He said his plan before he started music was to release 40 albums before he retires from active music but that has changed.
‘My last album will leave a mark that I’ve always wanted to achieve. Actively, I might not be participating in industry stuff because I will have other things to do.’
Edem stormed the music industry in 2006 with the release of his single ‘Wotome Woshi’. He dropped his debut album, Volta Regime (2009), Mass Production (2011) and Books N Rhymes ( 2014).
