Jimi Amu, popularly known as Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt, who has been a source of inspiration to many artistes in the country and beyond, marks his 25th year of mixing and scratching.
Highly respected in the entertainment industry as one of the pioneer of Hip-Hop in Nigeria and a mentor to many young DJs, Jimmy Jatt recorded an album in 2007 with 15 artistes, in the biggest collaboration album in Africa. He is partly responsible for the success of Sound Sultan, amongst others.
To commemorate his 25th anniversary, Dj Jimmy JATT plans to release his second album, titled ‘The Industry’ and a book this August.
We congratulate the DJ on his landmark achievement.
