In August 2014, Aristokrat Records announced its first signing of 2014, the popular DJ Consequence (Akeredolu Precious Pelumi) onto the Aristokrat/960MG.
And as a follow up to his recent string of successes, the turn up DJ, as he’s fondly called, recently dropped his debut single, ‘Our Turn Up is Different’ featuring Dammy Krane and Ice Prince.
DJ Consequence, who is also the official DJ for Quilox Nite Club and Rumors Night Club, has now followed up with his latest mixtape tagged ‘The Playlist Mixtape 2014’.
The mixtape consist of top local and international tracks of the last quarter of 2014 and is a fresh effort by DJ Consequence, a fresh graduate of the Department of English Studies, University of Lagos. The Lagos State-born DJ has played at some of the biggest and most popular clubs around Lagos such as The Place Lounge Ikeja, Modex Lounge, Vertigo Bar Elegushi, De Ark Bar, Club Ntyce, Club 0 Reloaded, and presently the resident Disc Jockey at Club Rumors and Quilox Nightclub.
