Davido has announced a major new live event, unveiling the first-ever Davido & Friends Festival, set to take place at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14. The show will be his only outdoor performance in London this summer, adding to the anticipation around what is already shaping up to be a landmark moment. Described as more than just a concert, the event signals a full cultural experience, with the “Davido & Friends” concept promising surprise appearances and an elevated celebration of Afrobeats.
The announcement comes amid a global run for the singer, who is also set to make his debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2026. Davido is scheduled to perform on April 11 and April 18 in Indio, making him the only Nigerian artist on the lineup this year. The milestone performance further cements his growing international influence and comes on the heels of his successful 5ive World Tour, which spanned North America before returning to Nigeria for a nationwide run.
That homecoming tour saw Davido travel across the country, kicking off in Akwa Ibom on October 26 and moving through Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Abuja, before closing with a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day. Framed as a journey through Nigeria’s cultural heartlands, the tour connected fans across regions while spotlighting the richness of the country’s music scene. Across these performances, he delivered standout tracks from his 5ive era, including “Funds,” “Awuke,” “10 Kilo,” “Offa Me,” and “With You,” alongside classic hits like “Dami Duro,” “FIA,” and “IF.”
