Dancehall Artiste Reil C Takes Girl Child Empowerment Campaign To Lagos Schools

Nigerian rising dancehall act Reil C has taken his campaign for the empowerment of Nigerian children, especially the girl child to secondary schools around neighborhoods in Lagos.

Today in Nigeria, more girls than ever go to school. However, despite progress, girls continue to face multiple barriers based on gender and its intersections with other factors, such as age, ethnicity, poverty, and disability, in the equal enjoyment of the right to quality education. Education is the key that will allow many other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved. During his recent visit to the NET TV, the budding artiste who just released his debut music project, ‘The Ghetto Youth EP’ had disclosed that he and his team are focused on using music to stimulate social change and empower women and youths, especially the girl child.
