After picking up his third Ballon d’Or, Real Madrid and Portugal striker, Cristiano Ronaldo is to wear the diamond-encrusted and personalised gold boots he got as a gift from sports brand, Nike.
According to reports, the former Manchester United star will wear the boots for the first time in the second leg of Real Madrid’s Copa del Rel tie against Atletico Madrid today, Thursday, January 15, 2015.
The boots, dubbed the ‘Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold,’ features a healthy dose of gold colouring to match Cristiano’s latest individual award.
