Clive Davis admits it’s ‘heartbreaking’ to see Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s family suffering again.
The 82-year old record producer – the mentor of Bobbi’s mother, Whitney Houston, who was found dead in a hotel in 2012 – has extended his ‘support and prayers’ to Bobbi’s family.
Speaking at a Pre-Grammy Gala Press Day, Davis told People magazine: ‘I’ve been in touch with Pat Houston and the family, and certainly expressed by support and prayers for Bobbi Kristina.’
He acknowledged that in light of Whitney’s sudden death three years earlier, it is especially tough to see the family go through such heartache.
He said: ‘It’s very painful and heartbreaking to see the family go through such pain again.
‘They certainly encourage the prayers of everyone and ask that the public respect their privacy.’
21-year old Bobbi is currently being cared for at a top hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, after she was found unresponsive in her bath at home last weekend and her family is standing strong in the situation without much to cheer about.
